To improve communication, always use full sentences and make sure the tournament directors use full sentences.
If the tournament director makes a request:
Example 1:
“Please pair Jason Layton with Dan Gable”
“Pairing Jason and Dan, please stand by…”
“Jason and Dan have been paired.”
Example 2:
“We need a result correction. Jameson Preach should have defeated John Monte.”
“Correcting the result between James and John, please stand by…”
“The result between James and John has been corrected.”
